LAWRENCE, MA — A man was shot in the leg Tuesday evening near the train tracks in the area of Merrimack Street and Parker Street.
Lawrence Police responded to reports of shots fired on Nov. 4.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the leg.
Police said the incident is not a homicide, contrary to information circulating on social media.
The investigation remains active and ongoing with the assistance of MBTA Police.
