GLASSBORO, NJ — Three 16-year-old males were arrested after officers located a stolen vehicle on Rowan Boulevard on Nov. 1.
Officers were notified of a stolen motor vehicle in the area at approximately 11:38 p.m.
An officer located the vehicle, which had been stolen from Willingboro the day prior, parked behind one of the buildings on Rowan Boulevard.
The officer observed three males exit the stolen vehicle and provided descriptions to other officers who were assigned to the Boulevard for extra security.
When officers approached the suspects, they fled on foot.
Two of the males were apprehended without incident after a foot chase.
The third male hid in the area and was located walking on Rowan Boulevard a short time later.
He was also placed under arrest without incident.
All three juveniles were from Willingboro and identified as J.D., D.W. and D.S.
J.D. was charged with obstruction, resisting by flight, disorderly conduct and receiving a stolen motor vehicle.
D.W. was charged with obstruction, resisting by flight, disorderly conduct and receiving a stolen motor vehicle.
D.S. was charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle.
All three juveniles were released to their parents and/or guardians.
The parents and/or guardians of each juvenile were also charged with the municipal ordinance “Minors and Parent Responsibility” for lack of supervision and control over the minor.
