BENNINGTON, VT — Vermont State Police have cited a 40-year-old man on charges involving a minor.
Peter Lown, of Bennington, was charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, disseminating indecent material to a minor outside the presence of a minor, and dispensing cannabis to a person under 21 years of age.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigations was notified of a sex offense involving a minor on Oct. 24.
Police developed probable cause to charge Lown with the offenses.
On Nov. 4, Lown was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Bennington Criminal Division on Dec. 1 at 8:30 a.m.
He was released on his own recognizance.
