CANISTEO, NY — A man was arrested after police found him inside a residence on Greenwood Street on Nov. 3.
The Canisteo Village Police Department was dispatched to Greenwood Street at 7:15 a.m. for a report of an unknown male inside a residence.
Officers located the subject on the front porch upon arrival.
Barlow Hopson Jr., 33, was taken into custody and charged with second-degree criminal trespass, a misdemeanor.
Hopson was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail for centralized arraignment.
He was released and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the incident.
