Woman arrested on warrants in Hartland

HARTLAND, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a woman on outstanding warrants Nov. 1 after she resisted troopers attempting to take her into custody.

Troopers from the Royalton Barracks were notified that Stacy Beckett, 40, a transient, was in the area of Family Circle.

Troopers located Beckett and advised her of the outstanding warrants.

Beckett resisted troopers while being taken into custody, police said.

The warrant was issued for a previous charge of aggravated operation of a vehicle without owner’s consent.

Beckett was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail on the warrant and $5,000 bail on the resisting arrest charge.
