Three stabbed in Albany, NY

ALBANY, NY — Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred early Saturday morning on Quail Street.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Quail Street near Elberon Place at around 3:55 a.m. for reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old with a stab wound to his arm, a 16-year-old with a stab wound to his upper torso area, and a 16-year-old with a stab wound to his chest.

All three victims were treated on scene by the Albany Fire Department and emergency medical personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Further investigation determined that the victims and the suspect were involved in a physical altercation prior to the stabbing incident.
