ANSONIA, CT — A Meriden man has been arrested in connection with a street takeover that occurred in April.
Joseph Yeager, 21, of Meriden, was arrested by warrant on Oct. 29 for his involvement in the April 26 street takeover, according to the Ansonia Police Department.
Yeager is the fifth arrest in the investigation and is believed to be the person seen on video jumping on the hood of a police cruiser during the incident, police said.
He was charged with riot first degree, conspiracy to riot first degree, breach of peace second degree and racing.
Yeager was held on $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Derby Superior Court on Nov. 25.
Detectives continue to investigate to identify others involved in the incident.
