Wrong-way driver arrested in Plymouth

PLYMOUTH, NH — A Berlin man was arrested after going the wrong way on Interstate 93.

At 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, State Police dispatch received a report of a wrong-way driver traveling southbound in the northbound lanes on I-93 in Plymouth.

Troopers assigned to the Troop F barracks responded, located the vehicle, a black 2021 Chevrolet Traverse, and stopped the driver near mile marker 78.2.

The driver was identified as Andrew Bourassa, 76, of Berlin.

Bourassa was charged with reckless operation and reckless conduct.

He is scheduled to be arraigned in Plymouth District Court on Dec. 18.
