Wallet stolen, fraudulent charges made in St. Albans

ST. ALBANS, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of a wallet and fraudulent debit card charges reported Oct. 21.

Police received a report at 1:41 p.m. that a wallet belonging to Ronald Meunier, 47, of Berkshire, had been stolen from the St. Albans Park and Ride.

Numerous fraudulent charges were made on a debit card belonging to Meunier, according to police.

An investigation revealed that Lindsay Little, 39, of St. Albans, had stolen the wallet and used the debit card to make a purchase, police said.

Little was cited on charges of petit larceny and false pretenses.

She is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on Dec. 8 at 8:30 a.m.
