BOSTON, MA — A Mattapan man wanted on multiple theft-related warrants was arrested Thursday morning in Roxbury.
Officers assigned to the Boston Police Fugitive Unit and District B-2 arrested Tyronne Burris, 49, of Mattapan, at about 10 a.m. in the area of 895 Massachusetts Avenue.
Burris was wanted on five warrants issued out of Boston Municipal Court.
The warrants include five counts of larceny over $1,200, receiving stolen property and two counts of common and notorious thief.
Police allege Burris stole over $55,000 in merchandise.
Burris is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
