SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor police arrested a New Haven man Wednesday on charges stemming from a January theft at a local Costco.
William C. Meinhold, 32, of New Haven, turned himself in at police headquarters on an active arrest warrant.
Police said Meinhold and Sharee Schiavone stole $4,028.50 worth of Dyson vacuums from the Costco at 1220 Tamarack Avenue in January.
Schiavone was arrested July 18.
Meinhold was charged with larceny in the third degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the third degree.
He was processed and released on a $10,000 surety bond.
Meinhold is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court Nov. 12 at 9 a.m.
