Woman arrested on conditions of release violations in St. Johnsbury

ST. JOHNSBURY, VT — A woman was arrested on two counts of violating conditions of release after an incident at a grocery store on Oct. 29.

Vermont State Police from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to Market 32 at 1:40 p.m. for a report of an intoxicated woman refusing to leave the store.

Troopers identified the woman as Kimberly McAlister, 56, of St. Johnsbury.

An investigation revealed McAlister had purchased and consumed alcohol in violation of her court-ordered conditions of release.

McAlister was arrested and transported to the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.

She was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Nov. 24 at 8:30 a.m.
