MALDEN, MA — A Malden man was arrested on drug-related charges following a traffic stop near the Malden Center Train Station on the evening of Oct. 28.
Officer Cam Selfridge and Officer Blake Ferry stopped Lamarr Martin, 43, of Malden, during proactive traffic-enforcement activity in the area.
Officers recovered several individually packaged bags of a brown powdery substance believed to be heroin/fentanyl during the encounter.
Police also seized what appeared to be a Glock-style handgun that was later determined to be a replica.
The replica firearm had no visible indicators, such as an orange safety tip, to suggest it was not authentic.
