EAST MONTPELIER, VT — A three-vehicle collision occurred on US Route 2 on Oct. 27 at approximately 4:46 p.m.
Troopers assigned to the Berlin Barracks responded to the crash.
The investigation revealed that Scott Brunetto, 59, of Hinesburg, failed to maintain a safe following distance and rear-ended a 2005 Dodge Caravan operated by Wesley Davis, 38, of Peacham.
Davis’s vehicle was pushed forward into a 2022 Ford Bronco operated by Jamie Chamberlin, 31, of Danville.
Davis sustained minor injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Davis’s vehicle sustained significant front and rear damage.
The 2016 Ford F250 operated by Brunetto sustained minor damage.
Chamberlin’s vehicle sustained no damage.
All three operators were wearing seat belts.
Road conditions were dry and weather was cloudy at the time of the crash.
East Montpelier Ambulance and Trahan Towing assisted at the scene.
Brunetto was issued a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint for following too closely.
