Man arrested on drug, fugitive charges in Hartland

HARTLAND, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a New Hampshire man on drug possession and fugitive charges after responding to a report of a suspicious person.

Police received a report of a suspicious male walking on Quechee Hartland Road at approximately 8:48 p.m. Oct. 27.

Troopers located the man and identified him as Timothy Keith, 38, of Rochester, New Hampshire.

Police learned Keith had an active cite and release in-state warrant for misdemeanor drug possession.

Keith also had two active hold without bail warrants out of New Hampshire, both for felony drug possession.

Keith was taken into custody by Vermont State Police with assistance from Hartford Police Department.

Keith was held for lack of $50,000 bail at Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield.

He is scheduled to appear Dec. 28 in Windsor County court to answer to the charges.
