WEST WARWICK, RI — A 42-year-old West Warwick man was arrested on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop on Main Street on Monday.
Hector M. Viruet Hernandez, of West Warwick, was taken into custody at 12:10 p.m. by Rhode Island State Police troopers.
He faces charges of manufacturing/delivery/possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I-IV controlled substance (cocaine) – 3rd + offense, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I-IV controlled substance (cocaine) – 1st offense, distribution or manufacturing in or near schools – 1st offense, and weapons other than firearms prohibited.
Viruet Hernandez was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed.
He was held overnight pending arraignment at Third Division District Court.
