KEENE, NH — An inmate at the Cheshire County House of Corrections was arrested on charges of attempting to solicit the murder of two people.
Edward LePore, 45, was taken into custody on Oct. 28 at the jail on a warrant charging him with conspiracy to commit murder and solicitation to commit murder.
The Keene Police Department investigated the case throughout October after learning of the alleged murder-for-hire plot.
During the investigation, detectives monitored communications between LePore and a person who was not incarcerated.
LePore was held without bail.
He was scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 29 in 8th Circuit Court in Keene.
The Keene Police Department was assisted by the Cheshire County House of Corrections Security Office.
