SCITUATE, RI — Rhode Island State Police made three arrests on Jan. 23, including two on outstanding warrants.
At 10:40 a.m., troopers arrested Alfredo Nufio-Marroguin, 38, of Providence, on an affidavit arrest warrant for disorderly conduct originating from the Providence Police Department.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Broadway in Providence.
Nufio-Marroguin was transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.
At 11:35 p.m., troopers arrested Alvin Howard, 38, of Hamilton, New Jersey, on a Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for pre-arraignment conference on the original charge of obtaining property by false pretenses.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in Johnston.
Howard was transported to the State Police Scituate Barracks, where he was processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.
At 6:30 a.m., troopers arrested Makayla Robinson, 35, of Scituate, for domestic simple assault.
The arrest resulted from a walk-in complaint reporting a domestic simple assault.
Troopers responded to the residence and took custody of Robinson.
She was transported to State Police Headquarters, where she was processed and transported to 3rd District Court for arraignment.
