Three arrested on cocaine trafficking charges in Webster

WEBSTER, MA — Three people with open criminal cases were arrested on drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop on Harris Street.

Officer Nicholas Caruso conducted the stop at approximately 4:42 p.m. on Oct. 21 after observing a rental car driven by Krista Soldi, who he knew had a suspended driver’s license, according to the Webster Police Department.

Soldi, 37, of Webster, was placed under arrest for driving while suspended.

Officers found a glass pipe commonly used to smoke crack cocaine in Soldi’s possession.

Two passengers were in the vehicle: Jeremy Jack, 35, of Worcester, and Hector Champagne, 29, of Webster.

Sergeant Robert Larochelle, Detective Tim Whiting, Officer David Brooks and Officer Kaitlyn Brooks assisted with the investigation.

A search of the vehicle turned up small glassine baggies, a box of sandwich baggies and a digital scale with white powdery residue.

Officer Caruso found a bottle of grape Fanta in the front cup holder that was fake and contained a hollowed-out compartment in the bottom.

Inside the compartment, officers found approximately 88.3 grams of powdered cocaine.

K9 Officer Jon Brooks and his partner OJ indicated narcotics were present in the bottle.

Jack and Champagne were also placed under arrest.

Soldi was charged with trafficking cocaine (36-100 grams), conspiracy to violate a drug law and operating after suspension.

She had five open criminal charges at the time of her arrest.

Jack was charged with trafficking cocaine (36-100 grams) and conspiracy to violate a drug law.

He had approximately 100 criminal charges on his record in Massachusetts and New York and was on probation for a 2024 stabbing in Springfield for which he received a suspended jail sentence.

Jack was released on bail after his arrest and did not appear at Dudley District Court for his arraignment.

He is currently wanted.

Champagne was charged with trafficking cocaine (36-100 grams) and conspiracy to violate a drug law.

He had 11 open criminal charges at the time of his arrest.
