Man reported missing after last seen at train station in Secaucus

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ — Police are searching for a 48-year-old man who was last seen at a train station in October.

Sachin Chaudhary, of Phillipsburg, was last seen on Oct. 23 at the Secaucus Train Station after being assisted by NJ Transit Police in purchasing a train ticket to Hoboken, according to the Phillipsburg Police Department.

Chaudhary recently experienced a mental health crisis and was hospitalized for bipolar disorder and psychosis, police said.

He is not currently taking his prescribed medication and may be in a manic or confused state, according to police.

Chaudhary is originally from Bayonne and may attempt to return to the Phillipsburg area, where he frequently visits family and friends, police said.

He is considered a potential danger to himself, according to police.
