SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested a Hartford man on drug-related charges after he called for assistance following an incident on Sullivan Avenue.
Bayrex Silva-Rivera, 40, of Hartford, was arrested Friday at 10:32 p.m. after calling the South Windsor Police Department when he was kicked out of a car in the area of 1530 Sullivan Avenue.
During the investigation, police found a glass smoking pipe and 0.5 grams of methamphetamine belonging to Silva-Rivera.
Silva-Rivera was processed and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Nov. 12.
In a separate incident, police arrested Amy E. Hull, 38, of Windsor Locks, on Sunday at 12:25 p.m. for criminal violation of a restraining order.
Hull contacted a victim several times by texting and calling in violation of a restraining order, police said.
Hull was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
She is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court today at 9 a.m.
