NEEDHAM, MA — Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a group of juveniles who fled from an officer on e-bikes and e-dirt bikes.
An officer responded to Memorial Field at approximately 12:45 p.m. Monday after receiving reports of juveniles riding the bikes in the area.
Police received numerous reports of the group running red lights, weaving in and out of traffic, driving on the wrong side of the road and riding on the turf at Memorial Field.
One of the bikes is described as a bright purple electric dirt bike.
When an officer located the group, they fled at a high rate of speed down Highland Avenue.
Police are asking anyone who recognizes the individuals or has information to contact the Needham Police Department.
