CINNAMINSON, NJ — A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Route 130 South and Cinnaminson Avenue early Saturday morning.
The Cinnaminson Township Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 12:06 a.m. Saturday for a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
Officers arrived and found that a male bicyclist had been struck by a white Infinity sedan.
The bicyclist died as a result of the impact.
The driver of the vehicle immediately stopped at the scene.
The driver and passenger in the vehicle waited for police to arrive and cooperated with the investigation.
Cinnaminson Township Police Chief William Obuchowski thanked the Cinnaminson Fire Department, the Palmyra Police Department, the Riverton Police Department, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and the New Jersey Department of Transportation for their assistance while the crash scene was secured and processed.
