Three arrested on warrants in Chemung County

CHEMUNG COUNTY, NY — The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people on outstanding warrants and one person on a drug-impaired driving charge over a three-day period.

Paul B. Hatala, 47, of Lowman, was arrested on Oct. 21 on an active arrest warrant for failure to appear on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, issued by Elmira City Court on Sept. 19.

Hatala was also arrested on an active bench warrant for failure to appear on a charge of petit larceny, issued by Horseheads Town Court on Aug. 15.

Hatala was arraigned and released and will appear in both courts at a later date.

Dakota M. MacNeal, 28, of Southport, was arrested on Oct. 22 on an active arrest warrant for failure to appear on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the 2nd degree, issued by Elmira City Court on Sept. 24.

MacNeal was arraigned by Elmira City Court and released.

Kimberly L. Tenny, 51, of Horseheads, was arrested on Oct. 22 on an active arrest warrant for violation of probation issued by Big Flats Town Court on July 22.

Tenny was arraigned by Big Flats Town Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail.

Genna L. Squiers, 42, of Penfield, was arrested on Oct. 23 for driving while ability impaired by drugs, an unclassified misdemeanor, after a traffic stop in the town of Elmira.

Squiers was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Elmira Town Court at a later date.
