KILLINGTON, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a robbery at a convenience store on Killington Road.
Police responded to the Mountain Merchant at approximately 9:40 p.m. Oct. 23 after receiving a report of a robbery.
An unarmed male wearing a mask entered the store and demanded that the employee open the register, according to police.
The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
The store owner is Donald Billings, 50, of Rutland.
