ALBION, NY — A 13-year-old girl reported missing has been found safe, police said Friday.
Aiyana Dobrowsky was located at 7:10 p.m. Friday, according to the Albion Police Department.
The teen was last seen and heard from around 3:30 p.m. Thursday when she left her parents’ residence without informing them of where she was going, police said.
Officers checked multiple residences, friends’ homes and other locations with negative results before issuing a public appeal for information.
Police said tips received on Facebook helped locate the girl.
Dobrowsky did not have a cell phone at the time she went missing, according to police.
