SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A 56-year-old man was arrested Thursday following a domestic violence incident in which police say he violated a protective order.
John J. Wassell, of South Windsor, was taken into custody at 8:07 p.m. Thursday after police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.
Police said Wassell violated a protective order by harassing the victim and preventing her from leaving during an argument.
Wassell was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
He was charged with disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order.
Wassell is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court at 9 a.m. Friday.
