EAST LYME, CT — A Massachusetts man has been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries across Connecticut.
Officers responded to the Shack at 324 Flanders Road on June 11 for a report of a burglary.
Investigators found a man had forced his way into the building and used a sledgehammer to break through walls while inside, accessing several businesses.
The same suspect was responsible for similar burglaries in Guilford, Milford, Madison, Vernon and Manchester.
After an investigation, investigators identified Robert Bowers, 65, of Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
Bowers was charged Wednesday with three counts of burglary and three counts of criminal mischief.
