SECAUCUS, NJ — Two Pennsylvania men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery and shooting that occurred on Sept. 14.

Raheem Hickman, 22, of Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania, and Sahr Keppah, 22, of Collingdale, Pennsylvania, were arrested in late October following a multi-state investigation.

Police said a resident of the RVR complex at the Exchange arrived at his residence at approximately 5:44 a.m. on Sept. 14.

After exiting his vehicle in the parking deck, the victim was approached by three males in ski masks, all armed with handguns.

The armed trio robbed the victim of his watch and pistol-whipped him several times before fleeing in a Chevrolet Camaro.

Police said there is sufficient evidence to believe the victim was specifically targeted and that this was not a random act.

The victim followed the suspects in his own vehicle and called police as they traveled northbound on the New Jersey Turnpike.

During the pursuit, the suspects fired multiple shots at the victim’s vehicle, striking it at least once.

One shooting incident occurred in the vicinity of Palisades Park.

The suspect vehicle then turned around and headed southbound on the New Jersey Turnpike.

New Jersey State Police engaged in a vehicle pursuit of the suspect vehicle but lost sight of it near Exit 11.

Ballistic evidence was recovered in Palisades Park and from the victim’s vehicle.

On Sept. 17, the suspect vehicle was stopped in Westchester County, New York.

Detectives from the Secaucus Police Department responded to the scene and later brought the vehicle back to New Jersey.

On Oct. 22, Keppah was arrested at his residence in Collingdale, Pennsylvania, by detectives from the Secaucus Police Department along with Collingdale Police and the Delaware County SWAT Team.

During a search of his residence, some items of evidential value were recovered.

He was lodged in Delaware County Prison awaiting extradition to New Jersey.

On Oct. 23, detectives from the Secaucus Police Department along with United States Marshals arrested Hickman at a residence in the Bronx, New York.

He was lodged in Rikers Island awaiting extradition to New Jersey.

Hickman and Keppah were each charged with robbery, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a firearm, aggravated assault, and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Both were also charged with criminal attempt to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder for the shooting incident in Palisades Park.
