HYDE PARK, VT — A childcare worker faces multiple charges following a joint investigation into alleged safety regulation violations at a local childcare center.
Savannah McKenzie, 34, of Hyde Park was charged with four counts of cruelty to a child on Sept. 25.
The Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department was notified by the State of Vermont Child Development Division that they had opened an investigation into the Kid Savvy Family Childcare center located at 92 West Main Street in Hyde Park over concerns regarding safety regulation violations.
The sheriff’s department assisted the state by opening a joint investigation.
McKenzie is scheduled to appear in Lamoille Court on Nov. 26 to answer to the charges.
