JAMESTOWN, NY — Three people were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on the city’s north side on Oct. 17.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon conducted the traffic stop around 11:30 p.m. after observing a moving violation.
Police said Alec C. Pentz, Sean T. Curtin and Stephanie F. Green were found in possession of methamphetamine and a scale with drug residue used to weigh illegal narcotics.
Police discovered Pentz was wanted by the Village of Fredonia Police Department.
Curtin, who was driving the vehicle, was operating with a suspended license that has been suspended 21 times in the past four years, according to police.
All three were arrested and transported to the city jail without incident.
Each was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree.
Green was booked and released to appear in court at a later date.
Pentz was held pending arraignment and will need to answer to his Fredonia warrant following arraignment.
Curtin was held pending arraignment and was additionally issued several violation and misdemeanor level uniform traffic tickets.
