ASHLAND, NY — A man was arrested Oct. 20 for driving while ability impaired by drugs after a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the town.
Jacob L. Cole, 28, of Elmira, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a Class E felony, due to a prior conviction within the previous 10 years.
Cole was arraigned by Ashland Town Court and released.
In a separate incident, Giovanni O. Olan, 28, of Elmira, was arrested Oct. 20 on an outstanding arrest warrant on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and promoting prison contraband in the first degree.
The warrant was issued by Elmira City Court on Sept. 9.
Olan was arraigned by Elmira City Court and released.
Charles A. Adams, 40, of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, was arrested Oct. 21 on an outstanding arrest warrant on charges of operating a motor vehicle while ability impaired by drugs first offense and aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree.
That warrant was issued by Elmira City Court on Sept. 23, 2022.
Adams was also arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear on charges of petit larceny and issuing a bad check, issued by Southport Town Court on July 15, 2022.
Adams was issued appearance tickets to appear in Elmira City Court and Southport Town Court at later dates.
