CHESTERFIELD, NH — The Chesterfield Police Department, along with the Chesterfield Fire Department and Rescue Inc, responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Route 9 near Welcome Hill and Cross Road on Tuesday involving a white BMW X3 and a blue Nissan Frontier.
The accident occurred at approximately 9:22 a.m.
The westbound lane of Route 9 was temporarily closed for approximately 25 minutes to allow for investigation and safe removal of both vehicles.
Three patients sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital.
Emerson’s towed both vehicles from the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
