BOSTON, MA — Officers arrested a Revere man on multiple drug trafficking charges Monday night in the Downtown area.
Mark Dioguardi, 37, of Revere, was taken into custody at approximately 10:30 p.m. by officers assigned to District A-1.
An officer patrolling the area of 41 Bowdoin Street observed a man standing inside the entrance of the building, using his cell phone and looking toward Cambridge Street.
The individual then walked toward 13 Bowdoin Street and sat on the front steps of the private property.
The officer approached and conducted a stop.
During the investigation, the officer recovered a large plastic bag containing sixteen individually wrapped bags of fentanyl, totaling approximately 10 grams.
Officers also seized $231 in U.S. currency, a digital scale, and drug packaging materials.
Dioguardi is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on charges of trafficking of Class A substances, possession with intent to distribute Class A, subsequent offense, and possession of Class A.
