Man arrested on domestic charges in Moreau

MOREAU, NY — A Queensbury man faces multiple charges following a domestic incident late Sunday night.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an active domestic incident call at 11:36 p.m. on Sand Hill Drive.

Stanislaw Walczak, 32, of Queensbury, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, a class E felony, petit larceny, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, both class A misdemeanors, and harassment in the second degree, a violation.

Walczak is accused of intentionally damaging two televisions and a mobile phone belonging to another person in an amount exceeding $250.

He is also charged with intentionally preventing that person from seeking emergency assistance from law enforcement by breaking one phone and stealing another.

Walczak is accused of subjecting that person to physical contact with the intent to harass, annoy or alarm them.

He is further accused of intentionally damaging a wall at Saratoga Hospital by punching it, resulting in damage that exceeded $250.

His case is pending arraignment in Moreau Town Court.
