WICKFORD — Two people were arrested early Tuesday morning during a traffic stop on Centerville Road in Warwick, according to Rhode Island State Police.
Isaiah Gasperini, 42, of Lincoln, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs, first offense, and refusal to submit to chemical test, first offense.
Gasperini was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment in Third Division District Court, where he will be presented as a bail violator.
Also arrested at 12:18 a.m. was Naisha Franco, 35, of, Richmond.
Franco faces four Providence County and Kent County Superior Court full bench warrants for failure to appear for review.
The warrants stem from original charges including possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance from Providence Police, shoplifting over $100 second offense from Warwick Police, first-degree robbery from Central Falls Police, and possession of stolen vehicle from Pawtucket Police.
Franco was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where she was processed and later transported to the ACI Women’s Intake facility.
