SPRINGFIELD, MA — Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in a motor vehicle theft.
The vehicle was stolen on Oct. 2 in the 1900 block of Main Street during the early afternoon hours.
Auto-Theft Detectives have released a photo of the suspect pictured behind the wheel of the stolen vehicle.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect or knows their whereabouts is asked to call the Detective Bureau at 413-787-6355 and ask to speak with an Auto-Theft Detective.
Tips can also be submitted through a private message on the department’s Facebook page or anonymously by texting CRIMES (274637), typing SOLVE and the tip.
