Police report 43 arrests in Egg Harbor Township

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police arrested 43 people on various charges during the first half of October, according to the department’s latest blotter report.

The department responded to 2,618 calls for service between Oct. 1 and Oct. 15.

Officers made five arrests for driving while intoxicated during the two-week period.

Police conducted 334 motor vehicle stops, issued 194 tickets and responded to 72 crashes.

The department also responded to 229 EMS calls and 29 domestic violence calls.

Officers performed 1,027 property checks and 14 directed patrols during the period.

Police investigated two vehicle burglaries, two commercial burglaries and two residential burglaries.

Notable arrests included David Quarles, of Atco, who was charged Oct. 10 with disorderly conduct, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Danielle Holden, of Egg Harbor Township, was arrested Oct. 11 and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon.

Patricia Mccauley, of Linwood, was arrested Oct. 11 and charged with assault by auto and driving under the influence.

Herby Aristide, of New York, was arrested Oct. 7 for an outstanding warrant and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The remaining arrests included 18 people taken into custody on outstanding warrants and various other charges including simple assault, obstruction, shoplifting and trespassing.
