Man arrested after domestic incident in Bristol

BRISTOL, NH — Police responded to a domestic incident on Upper Birch Drive on Saturday morning following a 911 call.

The incident began Friday evening, Oct. 17, and continued into Saturday morning, according to a statement from the Bristol Police Department.

A female victim fled the residence and sought help from a neighbor, who contacted 911.

The initial report indicated a male subject remained inside the residence with a juvenile and was possibly barricaded.

Officers responded, secured the scene and took the male into custody without incident a short time later.

The individual was held without bail and transported to the Grafton County House of Corrections.
