Woman arrested on larceny warrant in West Greenwich

WEST GREENWICH, RI — A Connecticut woman was arrested on a larceny warrant following a traffic stop on Route 95.

Deborah Cochrane, 52, of Groton, Connecticut, was taken into custody at 1:28 p.m. Friday on an affidavit and arrest warrant for larceny over $1,500.

The warrant originated from the East Providence Police Department.

Cochrane was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and later turned over to East Providence police.

In a separate incident Friday at 7:07 p.m., troopers arrested Michel Fedelia, 38, of Dorchester, Massachusetts, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in West Greenwich.

Fedelia was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, first offense.

He was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.

Fedelia was released into the custody of a responsible adult pending a future court date.
