OSWEGO, NY — Two people have been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred early Friday morning.
Officers from the Oswego Police Department responded to a reported stabbing at 71 W. Albany St. at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 17.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim suffering from a stab wound to the chest.
The victim was identified as Kevin Fatcheric, 41, of Oswego.
Emergency medical personnel transported Fatcheric for treatment; however, despite life-saving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at Upstate Hospital.
Police arrested Scott Sullivan, 24, of Fulton, and Rebecca Manchester, 44, of Oswego, following an investigation at the scene.
Sullivan was charged with murder in the 2nd degree, assault in the 1st degree and two counts of robbery in the 1st degree.
Manchester was charged with two counts of murder in the 2nd degree, two counts of assault in the 1st degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree and two counts of robbery in the 1st degree.
Both suspects were processed and brought to Oswego County CAP court for arraignment.
Oswego Police were assisted by the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office, Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, Menter Ambulance and the Oswego Fire Department.
