Three arrested on drug charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — Narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at a Wilton Avenue residence Tuesday, resulting in the seizure of methamphetamine, fentanyl and a stolen handgun.

Investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department and Dunkirk Police Department executed the warrant at 130 Wilton Ave.

The Jamestown Police SWAT team made entrance into the residence.

Investigators found Kevin R. Raymond, Dalton M. Nuse and Katherine I. Wood inside.

Authorities seized 91.8 grams of methamphetamine, 19.0 grams of fentanyl, scales and packaging used for the sale and distribution of narcotics, a stolen .22-caliber handgun and $2,048 in U.S. currency.

Raymond and Nuse were charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Wood was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Raymond and Nuse were transported to Jamestown City Court for arraignment.

Wood was issued an appearance ticket and released.

Authorities are asking community members to report suspicious or narcotics-related activity.
