SPRINGFIELD, VT — A Springfield man was arrested on an active warrant Saturday morning.
Nicholas Marrocco, 71, of Springfield, was taken into custody at approximately 10:04 a.m. on Oct. 11 in the driveway of 78 Valley St.
Officers patrolling Valley Street observed Marrocco and had prior knowledge of an active in-state arrest warrant issued for him, according to Sgt. Perkins and Cpl. Singleton.
After confronting Marrocco and confirming the warrant through Springfield Dispatch, officers issued him a citation.
Marrocco was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, on Oct. 13 at 12:30 p.m. to answer for the cite and release arrest warrant.
