Man arrested on domestic charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested following a domestic dispute on the city’s southside Monday night.

Officers from the Third Platoon of the Jamestown Police Department responded to the incident at 10:38 p.m. Oct. 13.

Through investigation, police determined that Matthew C. Hillman violated a Refrain from Order of Protection by threatening the victim with physical contact.

Hillman was arrested without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

He is being charged with criminal contempt in the first degree and harassment in the second degree.
