PORTLAND — A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged with kidnapping after a missing teenager was found at a Portland apartment.
Elijah Coleman was taken into custody at 8 p.m. Oct. 14 at an apartment on Brighton Avenue, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Jadelynn Harlow, 13, of Pownal, had been reported missing Oct. 6.
Authorities located Harlow at the Brighton Avenue apartment following a week-long investigation.
Coleman was already wanted for probation revocation related to domestic violence charges.
Coleman now faces charges of kidnapping, criminal restraint, endangering the welfare of a child and violating a protective order.
