VILLENOVA, NY — A 39-year-old man turned himself in to authorities after an investigation into inappropriate communications with a juvenile.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division initiated an investigation on Sept. 26 regarding inappropriate communications with a juvenile victim.
Investigators alleged that Justin M. Stanfield, of Brant, requested explicit pictures and videos from a juvenile.
The investigation also revealed that Stanfield disseminated indecent material to the same minor.
Stanfield voluntarily turned himself in to authorities on Oct. 16 for Centralized Arraignment Program proceedings.
He is charged with use of a child in a sexual performance and disseminating indecent material to minors in the first degree.
Stanfield will answer the charges in the Town of Villenova Court at a later date.
