Man arrested on burglary charge in Parishville

PARISHVILLE — A Colton man was arrested on burglary and stolen property charges following an investigation into a residential break-in.

Sunny J. Dumas, 37, of Colton, was charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

New York State Police responded to a burglary complaint on Chapel Hill Road on Oct. 8 at approximately 11:54 a.m.

The investigation revealed that Dumas had entered the victim’s residence and stolen several items.

Dumas was arrested Oct. 11 and processed at SP Canton.

He was arraigned in the Town of Parishville Court and remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail without bail.
