WARE — A Ware man was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property following an investigation into a stolen bicycle.
Corky Schipper, 34, of Ware, was arrested Friday and charged with receiving stolen property under $1,200, according to Ware Police Chief Shawn Crevier.
The arrest resulted from an investigation after police received a report that an unknown male stole a bicycle belonging to a 13-year-old girl and her 9-year-old brother, who share the bicycle.
Police are investigating whether Schipper is also responsible for the original theft of the bicycle.
Schipper was arraigned Tuesday at Eastern Hampshire District Court in Belchertown.
