BOSTON — A woman was fatally shot Monday afternoon in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood, police said.
Officers responded to a report of a person shot in the area of 1855 Washington Street at approximately 1:07 p.m. Oct. 13.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult female victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the incident.
