White Plains police report 46 arrests in weeklong period

WHITE PLAINS — Police made 46 arrests between Oct. 5 and Oct. 11, according to the White Plains Public Safety police blotter.

A 24-year-old woman from the Bronx was charged with disorderly conduct Oct. 5 after engaging in a fight outside an establishment at 166 Mamaroneck Ave.

She was released with a future court date.

A 21-year-old male from Greenburgh was charged with criminal trespass in the third degree Oct. 6 after being stopped on Housing Authority property at 225 MLK Blvd. with an active bar-out.

He was released with a future court date.

A 68-year-old homeless man was charged with menacing in the third degree, obstructing governmental administration in the second degree and resisting arrest Oct. 7 after causing a disturbance outside Starbucks at 200 Main St.

He was held for arraignment and an order of protection was served.

A 24-year-old White Plains man was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree Oct. 8 after violating the stay away clause of a valid temporary order of protection at 254 Martine Ave.

He was held for arraignment.

A 24-year-old male from Ossining was charged with assault in the third degree Oct. 8 during a domestic dispute on W. Post Rd.

He was held for arraignment.

A 42-year-old White Plains man was charged with robbery in the third degree Oct. 10 after punching and forcibly stealing $20 from a 31-year-old victim at 254 Mamaroneck Ave.

He was held for arraignment.

A 46-year-old homeless man was charged with menacing in the third degree Oct. 10 after a physical altercation in the recycling area of a supermarket at 154 Westchester Ave.

He was released with a future court date.

Other arrests during the period included 10 city ordinance violations, 11 vehicle and traffic law violations, one robbery, one menacing, four larcenies, five criminal possession of controlled substance charges, one criminal possession of a forged instrument, one criminal contempt, two criminal tampering charges, one trespass and two warrant arrests.
